Louis George is one of the Founding Partners of Hassett & George.  At Hassett & George, we work with busy individuals and organizations to take care of all their legal needs so they can focus on what really matters to them.  From our offices in Simsbury and Glastonbury, we work with clients across Connecticut and the country.

Lou’s current practice focuses on corporate work, residential and commercial transactions, land use and zoning, and succession planning, as well as general counselling for businesses of all sizes.

Lou takes the term “counselor” to heart.  His comprehensive legal practice allows him to counsel his clients on a wide range of issues, and nothing makes him happier than guiding his clients to a positive outcome.  With many years of experience in both litigation and corporate/transactional work, Lou has the background and knowledge to advise clients in many different areas.

His litigation experience extends from personal injury cases to business disputes, from construction cases to employment matters. Although you don’t often see Lou in the courtroom now that he has transitioned his practice to corporate and transactional work, he is still immersed in the firm’s litigation practice.  He is heavily involved in developing litigation strategies and overseeing cases, which he thoroughly enjoys.

Lou prides himself on solving problems.  If another attorney has a complicated case that they don’t want to handle themselves, Lou is often their first phone call.  As fellow Simsbury Regional Bar Association members, you should know that Lou is poised to be a resource to you and your clients.
